Sonic Mammoth was the first single released from Duke Type A. It was a double A side single with track 9 'Sharkies Bone Symphony'. The Artwork was once more created by Jack Lawrence of Marval comics under the direction To The Bones where you saw a giant anthropomorphic pre-historic mammoth having an almighty battle with an anthropomorphic Shark, destroying everything in their path.
The single led the To The Bones off to a great start with interest garnering from all corners. Radio DJ's such as Zane Lowe, Bruce Dickinson ( Iron Maiden ), Tom Robinson, Steve Lamacq, Ian Camfield and John Kennedy + many more all blasting the single out on the airwaves! The buzz grew so well Zane Lowe personally invited To The Bones down to Air Studios in London to perform a secret pilot episode for a Tv show idea he had. A great quote from Zane Lowe - " Sonic Mammoth - i love this fucking tune! ".
The single (both tracks) were recorded by Conor McGloin (Kinesis) in his father's primary school for next to nothing.
