about

One of the tracks that got us our first signing and release on a small independent label named ORG RECORDS ( www.organart.com ). It ended up as being released as a rare split single with Stoke's 'Herzoga'. Both bands had 2 tracks each on the release. To The Bones's was ofcourse TYCHO and the early demo version of 'REX'. Search ebay for it now you'll probably be in luck. The album version of TYCHO was recorded by Conor McGloin in his apartment block in Manchester, vocals were done parts on a roof and with Rhys locked in his cupboard with no lights screaming. The single got a lot of early attention with the track getting played by John Kennedy/Ian Camfield of XFM and out in places like Germany. The video was shot on a pub roof in the town centre of Bolton with next to no planning at all. There was vodka, there was a bath, there was a pub roof, there was a film camera and then there you had the music video for "Tycho". As unplanned as it all was it ended up getting playing on mainstream music TV in student unions and more. Pass on this track to your friends. Cheers.
